VICTORIA ROVER SCOUT CREW CREW LOGBOOK 1999-2000 |
|
Present: Dave, Sheryl, Tony, Lisa
What has been a fund-raiser for many community groups came our way and we were asked to assist with the stock-take at the local Woolworths supermarket. Unfortunately, the supermarket doesn't close until 9pm so it was a late night for the four of us.
We started in the freezer section counting frozen chickens and then continued to spend most of our night counting all sorts of goods, either on our knees or standing on some-what dodgey crates.
Did you know:
Freezers are very cold at 9pm
There are approx. 50 different teas
…ask one of us for more interesting supermarket goss
Although it was a bit of a boring night it was great to get a much needed $160 for the crew coffers.
