What Happened:

We showed up at Newlands Scout hall and were set off into the wops.

We didn’t get too lost and ended up finding all the required stuff at my house.

We had to take off a tire at Linden, which really was quite stupid. When the second car from our crew arrived (i.e. Tony with the Coon) and pulled out the trolley jack and changed tires in record time, team Speights were in fine form for the win. Which they indeed did by travelling the least amount of miles, (that being none), and so as in 1998 Victoria reigned supreme and took home the car rally trophy.
